How to Apply Makeup in a Moving Car

by Angela lagrimas

Are you in a hurry? Don’t have time to apply makeup before walking out the door? We’ve got you covered! Read on to learn five fast tips for applying makeup in a moving car.*

1. Start with foundation.

If you have even sixty seconds to spare, use them to apply your foundation before climbing into the backseat of your ride. This will make for much easier and more even coverage!

2. Add mascara.

Use your elbow for support – place it on your knee and brush the wand through your lashes (try Beauty Addicts’ Show Off Mascara). Don’t have a mirror? Use your phone camera.

3. Fill in your brows.

Do this with a light hand (with the car moving, it can be easy to over-fill or make mistakes). Follow it up by going through the hairs with a brow brush.

4. Apply lipstick.

If applying lipstick, use your ring finger rather than going straight at your lips with the tube. This will make application easier and leave less room for error. We like Beautiful Lips Lipstick (it is infused with a variety of moisturizing ingredients to keep lips soft and kissable).

5. Highlight.

Take an illuminating stick and pat it onto your cheekbones and nose, and under your brows. This will add some glow to your face and help you appear more awake.
