How to Perfectly Shape Your Eyebrows (4 Steps)

by Corinne Shoemaker

If you feel that you aren’t achieving quite the look you want with your eyebrows (whether they aren’t full enough or even simply don’t appear natural), then you’re in the right place! We’ve outlined easy steps you can take to give yourself eyebrows that are so gorgeous, they could make Cara Delevingne jealous...

Step One: Begin by tracing where your eyebrow will start. This can be done by taking an eyebrow pencil and aligning it with each side of the tip of your nose (watch the video below to see what this looks like). It is important to do this as precisely as possible since the distance between your eyebrows determines how wide your nose will appear.

Step Two: Determine where your arch lies. Take a small slanted brush and apply a little bit of a dark eyeshadow to the bristles. Align the brush with your pupil by setting its base at the tip of your nose, then mark where the brush-head lies.

Step Three: Determine where the end of your eyebrow should be. Take the same brush from the previous step and align it both with your nostril and the corner of your eye. Again, mark where the brush-head lies.

Step Four: Add in finishing touches. Taking your slanted brush, trace your eyebrows using your eyebrow powder and the marks you have made. Wipe away any powder that exceeds the perimeter of your eyebrows. Fill in your arches. Next, diffuse the lines you have made using a spoolie brush so that they appear softer. Define your eyebrows using an eyebrow pencil; go over your lines as well as through your hairs to give the illusion of fuller eyebrows. Finally, use a mascara gel (clear or whatever matches your hair color) and brush through your eyebrows in the direction of your hair growth to make the hairs appear much more defined.

That’s all there is to it! Check out this video to see the finished look:
