How To Remove Facial Hair Naturally

by Angela lagrimas

Removing facial hair can be problematic if you are one of the many people who have a reaction to some of the over-the-counter products. Fortunately, there are a number of natural methods can be used to remove your facial hair naturally.

1. Gelatin Mask

Combine one tablespoon of unflavored gelatin with two or three tablespoons of milk. Add a few drops of lemon juice or your favorite essential oil to improve the smell before mixing well. Microwave for 15 to 20 seconds before immediately applying the mixture to the areas where you want to remove hair, staying away from your eyes and eyebrows. After allowing the mask to dry completely -- about five minutes -- simply peel off and your facial hair should come with it.

2. Honey-Apricot Scrub

Using a food processor or blender, grind one-half cup of dried apricots until a powder forms. Mix it well with one teaspoon of honey before applying the mask to your problems areas as well as your entire face, if desired. Allow it to rest for about 10 minutes before using gentle circular motions to scrub the areas where you want to remove hair. Continue doing so for 15 to 20 minutes before using lukewarm water to wash your face. Repeat several times each week for optimal hair removal.

3. Orange - Lemon Peel

Mix one teaspoon each of powdered lemon peel, powdered orange peel, oatmeal and ground almond. Add two teaspoons of olive oil and one teaspoon of rose water to make a paste. Apply to your problem areas and let sit for about five minutes. Use your fingertips to rub the mixture in circular motions. Rinse with warm water. Repeat several times a week.
